Squirtle ~ An African Sideneck Turtle, Squirtle views the world through the glass walls of her watery aquarium home. With necks that are longer than most turtles, Sidenecks can’t completely hide their heads in their shells. Instead, as its name infers, it tucks its head under the edge of its shell after drawing its head to the side. Thanks to a face often described as adorable and smiling, African Sidenecks such as Squirtle are popular pets.
