Legacy of Beauty A peaceful Lieutenant River wends its way through Old Lyme, Connecticut, site of the early 1900’s Lyme Art Colony of Impressionist painters. Colony artists returned to the Florence Griswold House summer after summer to paint the surrounding rural beauty.
