Juvenile iguanas dress in snappy bright green and are easily spotted as they sun themselves on tree trunks or branches hanging over canals or rivers. Agile climbers, iguanas can fall up to 50 feet and land unhurt, using their hind leg claws to clasp leaves and branches to break a fall.
