Life Is Full of Sweet Spots

This Egyptian Goose is a long way from home. A native of Sub-Saharan Africa, the Nile Valley and parts of the Middle East, the species was considered sacred by the ancient Egyptians. Imported into Great Britain in the 18th century, it has since made its way across the Atlantic. Today they are spotted in parts of California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey and Texas.
