Barbara wrote these words to picture a world for which she yearned while serving time behind the walls of a correctional institution. The image and her prose, “Dream Cottage,” was fiction. The state of mind it described was not. In her interview for Life Is Full of Sweet Spots, Barbara speaks of the way gardening and flowers bring her a peace and contentment that enable her to find joy.
