“The beauty of that June day
was almost staggering. After the wet spring,
everything that could turn green
had outdone itself in greenness
and everything that could even dream
of blooming or blossoming
was in bloom and blossom.”
— Dan Simmons
“You walk through a series of arches, so to speak, and then, presently, at the end of a corridor, a door opens and you see backward through time, and you feel the flow of time, and realize you are only part of a great nameless procession.” — John Huston

Mary, thanks for sharing the pictures of this park. A similar park is located in Columbus, Ohio, and it is called the Columbus Park of Roses. It contains approximately 12,000 roses and over 400 varieties. https://www.parkofroses.org/
