Pieces

“Break a vase, and the love that reassembles the fragments is stronger than that love which took its symmetry for granted when it was whole.” — Derek Walcott

“I am intrigued with combining the remnant of memories, fragments of relics and ordinary objects, with components of technology. It’s a way of delving into the past and reaching into the future simultaneously.” — Betye Saar
