instead of the vibrant colours and shades I knew existed.” — Katie McGarry, Pushing the Limits
“So you must not be frightened if a sadness rises up before you larger than any you have ever seen; if a restiveness, like light and cloud shadows, passes over your hands and over all you do. You must think that something is happening with you, that life has not forgotten you, that it holds you in its hand; it will not let you fall. Why do you want to shut out of your life any uneasiness, any miseries, or any depressions? For after all, you do not know what work these conditions are doing inside you.” ― Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet
“I wonder if that’s how darkness wins, by convincing us to trap it inside ourselves, instead of emptying it out. I don’t want it to win.” ― Jasmine Warga, My Heart and Other Black Holes
“Maybe we all have darkness inside of us and some of us are better at dealing with it than others.” ― Jasmine Warga

Yes, they were a bit scary. Never saw anything like them, and kept thinking how frightening it must be to have a tornado approach, which, thankfully, I have never witnesssed! Another of Mother Nature’s I-max theater shows! You, too, have a great week. Mary

I wouldn’t want to see a tornado approach either. Luckily, we’re not in Tornado Alley here, but even so, one can touch down here, too.
