Overnight, they fell,
floating and curling their way through darkness,
while I slept and spirits dozed, naked trees bent
to the ground, the face of the earth covered its eyes,
and the crickets came inside.

Love the Autumn rusty leaves! Just today, I photographed rusty, and other, leaves for an article!
They have been really mounting up lately…you should have plenty to photo and write about. 🙂
