Musings while on Safari

It was moments such as these, when the sun hung big and low overhead, burning through dust filled sky over the Serengeti in Tanzania, that the expanse and wildness and enormity of the day’s trek fell into perspective, and we found ourselves looking, instead, at simple moments of peace and joy.

I visited Serengheti about 3 years ago and found that it was just beautiful. I love this photo!

  Thanks! I, too, absolutely loved the Serengeti…it was one of my favorite, and most memorable, trips. Stay tuned, as I likely will post other pictures from that trip from time to time.
